Child Care and Head Start
Early Head Start: This program serves children prenatal to age three. A comprehensive service that focuses on early childhood development, education, health, nutrition and parental involvement.
Available in Region V and Region VI.
Head Start: Head Start is a comprehensive early childhood program for eligible preschool children. Children and their families also have access to a variety of support services. Center based Head Start and Home Based Head Start are administered by some CAAs. Available in Region V, Region VI and Region VIII.
Child Care: Child Care centers provide affordable child care for low-income families. Available in Region V.
Day Care Vouchers: Vouchers provided to in-need individuals and families to assist with childcare expenses. Available in Region IV.
Individual and Family Services: A variety of therapeutic services tailored to meet the specific needs & concerns of individuals, families and children. Available in Region VI.
